I am just beginning to read the book Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver. It is a really interesting book because so far it is about how the main character Samantha relives the 24 hours before she dies in a car accident going to school. Samantha has a "clique" of three girls that practically run their school. The day she dies, it is "Cupid Day" where you give roses to your friends. That day, there is a party where she considers having sex with her boyfriend. After a couple of days of reliving her death, she realizes that she has a chance at changing her fate.
This book has so far been really good! It helps you realize the effects of bullying and other important issues that happen within ones teenage life.
xox for the last time!

Book Review #11: Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper
I just finished reading the book Out of My Mind by Sharon M. draper. When I read the blurb of the book, it reminded me of my sister, Lynn. It reminded me of my sister because the main character Melody, cannot walk or talk or do anything for herself just like my sister. Even though Melody's body does not function like other people, she has a photography memory which means she can remember things from hearing or seeing them only once and her brain works perfectly. This book was really interesting because Melody gets something that helps her put her thoughts into words that it speaks.
Once Melody gets used to using her machine, her teachers and classmates find that she is really really smart! Though she is smart and is now included in regular classes, she is still not treated like a "normal" person. All through the book, Melody faces the fact that people don't really care about your personality they only care what you look like. I think this a book for everyone. It teaches you about what a person who is different feels when they are not included and when people stare at them.

Book Review #10: Dash and Lilly's Book of Dares and 13 Reasons Why
I just finished reading the book Dash and Lilly's Book of Dares. It is a really interesting book. It is about these teenagers Dash and Lilly who communicate and meet through a red moleskin note book. This entire book is about how they keep sending letters to each other and having them go somewhere to meet one of their family members or something like that. I really enjoyed reading this book because I thought I was pretty special that they were able to meet each other through writing.
I am now currently ready the book 13 Reasons Why. This book is about a boy named Clay who receives audio tapes of a girl named Hannah (who recently committed subside) and talking about 13 reasons why she committed suicide. I was going to read this book earlier in the year but I thought I would be to heavy for my to read. I changed my opinion about it after I read Rachel's blog. She was talking about how it was a really good book and that everyone will like it so I decide that if Rachel can read it, I can read it so I read it. It has been really good so far! Thank you for reading!

Book Review #9: The Fault in Our Stars
I recently finished reading the book The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. One of the parts of this book that really made it unique was a book that couldn't really be categorized. Like with the pretty little liars books, they were categorized as a mystery and with The Fault in Our Stars had a little bit of everything. It had romance and a tragedy, and a little bit of mystery. Also the two main character Hazel and Augustus (Gus), they talked to each other in these metaphorical lines that made the reader feel a deeper emotional feel to the book.
Another reason why this book is great even though it is sort of a cancer book, it doesn't have the heavy stuff that other cancer books have. Like in cancer books, they talk about how much it sucks and then the character that you suspected dies at the end, well this book is nothing like that! The ending of the book was so sad that I basically spent all night sobbing. It surprised me, how everything turned out! I hoped that their friend Isaac would not have to loose his eyes and that Hazel's lungs would never fill up with water again. This book was recommended to me by Franny so now, I recommend this book to everyone! This book is amazing! So far one of the best books that I have read this year. If you would like to know more about this book, you know where to find me!

Book Review #8: Pretty Little Liars #10 Ruthless
I am currently in the middle of reading the book Pretty Little Liars #10 Ruthless. It is in my opinion one of the best books in the series so far. In Ruthless, the characters are in a split and are slowly getting back to normal. The main characters Emily, Hanna, Spencer and Aria split up because of something that happened in Jamaica. The book slowly gives you small details about what happened and the author finally tells you. One reason why I particularly like these books is because I like Sara Shepard's writing style. Every book ends with a cliffhanger that leaves readers wanting more.
The characters are devolving and changing majorly. They are making decisions that they would not particularly do in the earlier books. In this book, Spencer was doing drugs in her dorm room at camp and the police found it so, she called Hanna to place a bag in her friends room because she thought that her friend ratted her out. First of all in book #1 Spencer would not even think about doing drugs because she would think about doing drugs. Also, Emily dated this guy named Isaac and they had sex and she got pregnant. Emily would not have had the opportunity to get pregnant because she was dating a girl named Maya. It sort of confused me because these characters changed their personalities so much. I think that maybe because the later books were recently written and the other ones were written years before that maybe she felt that the characters were boring. Also the main characters have gone through so much that they wanted to be rebellious.

Book Review #7: Pretty Little Liars
I have recently been reading the Pretty Little Liars series. I had heard about these books for a while, but for some reason I didn't want to read them. When I finally picked up the first book, I instantly fell in love with them. Every chapter is about a different "Pretty Little Liar". There are four of them, Emily, Aria, Spencer and Hanna. They are the four main characters. The premise of the book is how all of these characters cope with the death of their best friend Alison.
My favorite character in the book so far is probably Emily or Hanna. These characters are most likely my favorite because I feel that I can can connect more to them and most likely make the same decisions that they have made. They are very different characters though. Emily is shy quiet but when she does speak she gives really good ideas. Hanna is outspoken, and a fashionista! I think that the reason why I like these two characters so much is because they are not like any other character in the book. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes a little bit of mystery, scary and drama mixed into one series. If you do decide to read it, be sure to be ready to find out the unexpected!

Book Review #6: Catching Fire & Mockingjay
Over Thanksgiving break, I read the second book in The Hunger Games series, Catching fire. I was a bit disappointed of the plot in that one because it wasn't as thrilling as the first one. Catching Fire starts off a little slow I kept thinking something big is going to happen, maybe Prim is picked to be in the Quarter Quell. Something big happened in the book but it is not at all what I expected. Thoughout the whole time I have been reading this series, I have been trying to figure out why Katniss does not love Peeta. When I think of Peeta, I think of Alex Pettyfer. Blond hair, blue eyes and a kind of shy smile. When I think of Katniss, I think of a younger version of Angelina Jolie. Strong, brown hair, confusing personality and deep. These people are almost complete opposites and opposites attract. If I was Katniss, I would be totally in love with Peeta and not just kissing him because I would like to survive.
At this moment in time I am about 47% done with the last book in The Hunger Games series, Mockingjay. Mockingjay is not at all what I expected. I expected that something was going to happen so that either Peeta gets mad at Katniss and does something like really dramatic or that Katniss gets mad at Peeta and does something drastic. My prediction was WAY OFF! I can't really say what happens without giving stuff away......... This is a really good book of the series. It has a nice flow. Things don't happen too fast or too slow. This book also has a ton of tear jerking moments where you just have to put the book down and stare at a white wall to get your brain settled. A character that I have not gotten to really understand is Gale. Gale is a main character that does not really come up much in the first and second books. Gale is this character that will not tell you when he is mad at you. You have to figure it out by yourself if Gale is mad at Katniss. I think that everybody that loves to read any kind of genre of book would LOVE this series. I was reluctant to read it at first, but I tried it and loved it!
